The Bay Area newcomer on Thursday released her new single "butterflies," the latest sample of her upcoming debut Letters From The Invisible Girl! EP, which is out March 4 via EMPIRE!. It's a captivating, bittersweet listen written from a place of vulnerability after being hurt in past relationships.

As Reese puts it, so many other songs about butterflies "focus on the positive side of romance, so I thought I’d write about how it feels when you don’t even want the butterflies to begin with.”
