Summer might technically be a few weeks away, but that isn't keeping bennytheghost from releasing his addictive new project, which is absolutely summer-ready.

His 29 Palms EP is out today, and it's perfect if you're a fan of the left-of-center pop-rock in the vein of Still Woozy or Two Door Cinema Club. It's a great soundtrack to kickstart your weekend or the upcoming holiday.

"The 29 Palms EP is more of a return to self for me and my music," says bennytheghost. "My first EP Supersonic was more of an experimentation of genre and an attempt to find my voice as an artist. It hit the full spectrum of dark and aggressive to super beachy and happy. 29 Palms, for me, combines the song crafting experience that I’ve gained from writing Supersonic and then combines it with the influences that I’ve loved and grew up with as well as my more modern day influences."
