As summer slowly comes to an end, Casey Møøn (one-half of the production duo Zookids) is here with a wonderful new project, his Fountains EP.

The project, which is anchored by the frothy tracks "Autumn Calls" and "Legacy," arrived Thursday, and it's actually the first of a trilogy of EPs, with two others, Mirrors and Ashes, coming soon. The new EP was inspired greatly by Richard Linklaters’ Before Sunrise and John Knowles’ A Separate Peace, while the subsequent projects will vary in genre and draw thematic influence from different films or TV series.

For Fountains, it's a project reflective of the wide-eyed wonder of childhood. “One day we’ll wish we were here again,” Casey, who has previously helmed production for artists such as Young Thug, Gunna and A Boogie with the Hoodie, proclaims on “autumn calls,” Having felt untethered and dissociated throughout most of his early 20s, the artist now views that statement optimistically.

Ultimately, it makes for a perfect end-of-summer listen. Hear it now.
