There is so much new music out today, but one definitive, must-hear record is Sampa The Great's As Above, So Below.

The Zambian-born, Botswana-raised poet and rapper has delivered her long-awaited sophomore full-length, and it's absolutely worth the wait, and one of this week's best releases, out today via Loma Vista Recordings.

It features a number of guest appearances from the likes of Angélique Kidjo, Denzel Curry, Joey Bada$$, Kojey Radical, WITCH, Chef 187, Tio Nason and Sampa’s own sister Mwanjé.

"As Above, So Below is more personal than communal," says Sampa. "The literal meaning is what is within me, is what is expressed outside of me. After years of feeling like I had to represent and be an ambassador for everyone, I finally feel like I get to be an ambassador and fully represent myself."

She adds: "This is my freest project to date and it feels like the journey of my return has been completed and a new chapter begins.”
