After making a grand return back in May, Santigold has delivered an incredible new album titled Spirituals.

As we previously mentioned, the singer's fourth full-length is her first album released on her own label Little Jerk Records, distributed by Secretly Distribution.

Spirituals is a uniquely personal album for me because, more than ever, it’s an album about the process of creating—a testament to the spiritual quality of creation and its deliverance," says Santigold of the new album. “If I had to sum up the experience of this record in one image, it would be ushers at a church, dressed in white from head to toe, and I'm the churchgoer who they fan and support, crowding around me as I shake, thrash, and speak in tongues as I take off, and then I’m gone. Ascended. And then I realize that all the ushers were me.”

Alongside a number of standout collaborators such as Rostam, Boys Noize, Nick Zinner, SBTRKT, Lido, Ryan Olson and more, Santigold says she created the album as a "multisensory experience," which includes music and video vignettes, as well as a forthcoming tea collection and small-batch, natural skin care products. She will also soon launch a podcast in which she interviews other artists and visionaries.

“I want to continue branching out into all forms of art,” she says. “And I’m really excited to let my music take me to new places.”
