After releasing his new single "Novocaine" last month, rising artist Tadhg Daly is sharing a rework of the track, by London-based songwriter Joshua Oliver (aka Jolé). And it actually feels like the more authentic form of the song.

This new edition finds the Jersey-born, Irish singer-songwriter tapping into a deeper emotional space, with a rawness not showcased as clearly on the more polished original. The song comes ahead of the singer's upcoming Getting It All Wrong EP, which arrives on Nov. 11.

"Jolé has been one of my favourite artists and a consistent collaborator for the past couple of years," says Daly. "I'm a huge fan of the soundscapes he creates in his music and to have him reimagine 'Novocaine' has allowed me to see a totally different side to the song. I think this version of the song shines a light on the vulnerability in the story of the song."
