After giving her fans a preview of her rendition, singer-songwriter Sara Kays releases an official cover of Owl City’s hit song “Fireflies.” She first performed her version of the song while touring across North America, opening for Alec Benjamin and MAX. To speak further on how the single came about, Kays states:

“I spent almost half of 2022 on tour, and at most of the shows, I would sing ‘fireflies’ by owl city in the middle of my set. It was always such a fun moment in the show because everyone and their mother loves that song. I figured after singing it at least 50 times last year; I should release my own version of it! It was super fun to make, and I’m excited to have it out in the world :-)"

The track captures the emotional essence that Kays incorporates in her music which enhances her ability to connect with audiences through the authenticity she displays on each track. Be sure to stream Kay’s rendition of “Fireflies” on all streaming platforms and follow her on TikTok, Twitter, and Instagram for more updates and related news @sarakaysmusic.
