After years of multiple singles and EPs, joan has finally shared their proper debut album.

On Wednesday, the duo of Alan Benjamin Thomas and Steven Rutherford released superglue, their first official full-length, out now on Photo Finish Records. And while they've built a catalog of love songs and breakup anthems, this newly released project is reflective of growth and emotional journeys as they're older now and both members have each started families in the past year.

"We naturally felt comfortable in the world of love songs,” says Rutherford. “This time, we were like, ‘Let’s get more personal.' We both had babies in the past year. We’ve grown more than we have in a long time. It’s so cool watching your baby crawl for the first time and see the world. It organically informed the writing. The whole body of work is so personal—like we’re giving a piece of ourselves to listeners. It’s by far the most special thing we’ve done.”

The new album comes as the duo will also be hitting the road next month for a U.S. tour which begins on May 13.
