On Friday, Portugal. The Man released their long-awaited new album Chris Black Changed My Life.

It's finally here today via Atlantic Records, coming almost exactly six years after their previous album Woodstock, which was released in 2017. The album, which was produced by renowned producer Jeff Bhasker, whose recent work includes collaborations with Beyoncé, Harry Styles and SZA. The title stems from the fact that it the record is dedicated to the band's late friend and honorary member Chris Black.

The album's arrival follows the band's performance last week at Bonnaroo, and they'll also be hitting the road next month for a number of North American shows, including festival dates at Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits.
