Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Lumen Loraine has just unveiled the second single off the upcoming album from his musical project Cayo Coco. With his sound emanating an ethereal quality, his delicate and warm vocals touch on his own experiences over the last few years, as he delves into a chapter of healing and inner-exploration. “Ghosts Talk” sees the artist painfully recalling the story of someone who feels invisible to the world.

Speaking further of the meaning behind the melancholy track, he shares, “No one knows how to talk to someone who is hiding. If we isolate ourselves from others and life, we will only go further and further into the illusion of separateness.” The songwriter continues, “Part of me felt like this song was also written about spirit guides. My angels are constantly chatting with me, but it took me a long time to understand the nuances of their language. Once I started to tune in, I realized that “ghosts” do in fact talk and the ones assigned to us are here to help us heal and navigate our earthly lessons. I hope this song creates a space for listeners to feel seen, guided, and loved by both the physical & the invisible.”

With twinkling acoustic guitars, soaring string arrangements, echoing instrumentation and the addition of pretty nature sounds, Cayo Coco has concocted a sound that shimmers with a heartwarming sincerity and celestial grandeur. This soothing and therapeutic release will help guide you through the hurdles that we face during our weird and wonderful human experience.
