British singer/songwriter Bea Elmy Martin has a magnetic style to her music. Her new single “Written On Me” for instance, leans into intimacy, pulling listeners deep into her world and offering a personal glimpse into her life. The London-based artist has steadily built a reputation for crafting songs that dance delicately between fragility and strength, and her latest single continues that narrative with added emotional clarity.

Drawn from the same emotional universe as her forthcoming project Under The Yew (Vol. 2), “Written On Me” explores the kind of love that slowly reshapes you over time, with Bea honing in on the subtle ways another person leaves an imprint on your identity. Sonically, “Written On Me” unfolds with patience, pairing soft, almost weightless vocals with atmospheric production that gradually blooms around them, resulting in something totally immersive.

You can hear the influence of classic soul in the warmth and sensitivity of her songwriting, but her sound remains firmly rooted in a modern alternative space shaped by ambient electronics and understated orchestral textures. “Written On Me” captures the sort of emotion that’s difficult to put into words, setting the tone beautifully for Bea Elmy Martin’s anticipated new EP.
