Natasha Khan (aka Bat for Lashes) has shared a hypnotic new song "In God's House," the second preview of the singer's upcoming new album.

Titled The Bride, the full-length will be out July 1 via Parlophone/Warner Bros. It tells the story of a woman whose fiancé was killed in a crash on the way to the church for their wedding. The bride embarks on her honeymoon by herself, which results in "a dark meditation on love, loss, grief and celebration."

The album was inspired by I Do, a short film Khan wrote and directed, which will make its debut at Tribeca Film Festival next month. The music was recorded over an 18-month period in London, Los Angeles and Brighton, before building a studio in a big old house in Woodstock, New York, where she finished the record with co-producer Simone Felice (Lumineers, Felice Bros).

The Bride will be available for pre-order starting Friday at midnight, but "In God's House" can be heard below.
