Doris Roberts, the beloved actress perhaps known as Marie from Everybody Loves Raymond, has died. She was 90.

TMZ first reported the news Monday afternoon and her Raymond co-star Patricia Heaton subsequently confirmed her death with a tribute on Twitter.

Roberts was nominated for a total of 11 Emmy Awards over the course of her career, beginning with a nod and win for her 1983 guest appearance on St. Elsewhere. She would go on to win four more times for her work on Everybody Loves Raymond.

According to a rep for Roberts, she died peacefully in her sleep Sunday night of natural causes.
