Rising Los Angeles-based singer Lauv is back with a hypnotic new single "Breathe," just in time to soundtrack those cozy fall nights or quiet mornings after.

The simmering, bittersweet cut is the latest in a series of stellar offerings from the young up-and-comer, including "The Other," "Question" and "Reforget," the latter of which was among Variance's 100 Best Songs of 2015.

"You're my all and more / All I know you taught me / You're my all and more / but I need room to breathe," Lauv sings on the contemplative track, in which he declares his affection for an unnamed lover, while also making clear he needs out.

While "Breathe" will be available Friday on digital retailers, it can be heard now below.
