Portugal. The Man is ready to return, and the Portland-based band is looking to make quite the impression. Their new record, Evil Friends, produced by the one and only Danger Mouse (Jack White, The Black Keys, Norah Jones). Not only does the producer (aka Brian Burton) have a notably golden touch, but the band is offering some of their best material since their 2005 inception.

J. Cole on Friday unleashed another new track ahead of his forthcoming album, Born Sinner. The new cut, "Niggaz Know," certainly acknowledges how far he's come since his 2011 debut album, but the track still sounds raw and somewhat like a confessional.
“Ladies, ya’ll want to do it again?” Kelly Rowland asks her Destiny's Child mates at the beginning of her new track, "You've Changed," before Beyoncé and Michelle Williams respond with their own verses, which they each recorded separately. 
Ellie Goulding has managed to crank out another summer jam, this time by covering Alt-J's breakout hit "Tessellate." The smooth, jazz-infused cut is laced with just the perfect amount of synth, while showcasing the British vocalist's sultry soprano.
Following his wild venture with Pharrell and T.I., Robin Thicke's new single is a softer ballad, more in line with his previous work. "4 the Rest of My Life" can now be heard below, ahead of its official May 28 arrival on iTunes.
Pharrell has contributed three songs to the forthcoming Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, but you can hear one of the tracks below. The singer-producer also co-produced the soundtrack with composer Heitor Pereira.
The Weeknd on Thursday premiered a new song, the title track off his forthcoming Kiss Land record. The sexy, strange seven-minute cut can be heard below.
While the single doesn't officially release to retail until May 21, Mayer Hawthorne on Wednesday unveiled "Her Favorite Song," a collaboration with Jessie Ware. The soulful singer is preparing for the release of his new album, Where Does This Door Go, which arrives on July 16. He co-produced his latest effort with Oak of Pop & Oak, in addition to production by Pharrell, Greg Wells and Jack Splash.
If you happen to love good music, you're in luck, as The National's new album, Trouble Will Find Me, is streaming online as of today (Monday). The stream, via iTunes, comes a week in advance of its May 21 release (just like Daft Punk's Random Access Memories, 
G.O.O.D. Music's freshman member, Hudson Mohawke, is already reported to have worked with Kanye West on his mysterious forthcoming album, but West's new protégé on Friday night also played a pair of previously unheard tracks, presumably from Ye's new set.
