New York hip-hop/R&B outfit thenobodies has released a stunner with their new single "Andy Warhol."

The lustrous cut already has the stamp of approval from fellow Variance favorites such as Jordan Bratton and James Scott. And it's not difficult to see why, because it's as smooth as it is irresistible.

The song was inspired by "the beauty and madness of a NYC night," the emerging group tells Variance. Perhaps not coincidentally, pop art icon Andy Warhol died 30 years ago this week.

Luckily, the track is a preview of the group's upcoming project, choas, in a beautiful place, which doesn't yet have a release date but will surely be a must-hear effort, with "Andy" serving as evidence of that.

Listen to "Andy Warhol" below and stay tuned for more from thenobodies.
