New alt-pop duo Middle Child is making their entrance today with their debut single "Burn Out."

The intoxicating new release is premiering today on Variance, but it's officially out tomorrow (May 14) via Casual Jam Records. Middle Child is the joint effort of producer Jacob Lee and popular songwriter-vocalist Mikey Wax.

According to Middle Child, their music is inspired by a fusion of childhood memories and the struggles of adulthood while trying to make a living as songwriters in a challenging music industry.

"Burn Out" is said to be the first single of an upcoming EP.
