It's been a while since R&B group TLC released new material, but that's about to change. Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozanda “Chilli” Thomas appeared at a press conference on Thursday to reveal the teaser for their upcoming VH1 biopic, CrazySexyCool, which will premiere in October, with rapper Lil Mama portraying the late Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes.
It was also confirmed that Lil Mama will join the now-duo as an unofficial member to perform with them at a previously unannounced Mixtape Festival performance this Saturday, their first performance in four years. Watkins and Thomas admitted during the press conference that they have contemplated inviting the rapper to join them as the third member.
TLC is also releasing a greatest hits album on Oct. 15, with new material, which includes collaborations with Lady Gaga, Dallas Austin, Ne-Yo and J. Cole. The duo recently appeared on Cole's own Born Sinner cut, "Crooked Smile." They said they have also been in talks to collaborate with Drake.
Watch the CrazySexyCool teaser below, featuring Drew Sidora as "T-Boz," Keke Palmer as "Chilli," and LIl Mama as "Left Eye." The film will premiere Oct. 21 on VH1.
