Two high profile albums released on Tuesday: The Black Keys' Turn Blue and Michael Jackson's posthumous Xscape.
While the Keys' drummer Patrick Carney has made headlines in the past and again recently for taking shots at Justin Bieber, he's also got beef with Xscape—and not just because it released on the same day as his record.
"[It's] some fucking bullshit that sucks so bad that it took them three years after he died to make it listenable," Carney said in a new interview with Rolling Stone. He went on to theorize—as many likely have—that it's just about the money: "L.A. Reid needed a new boat." (Reid is the CEO of Epic Records largely responsible for pushing for Xscape's release.)
