On Wednesday, he shared a new song called "Forward," which was first previewed in Drake and 21 Savage's "Jimmy Cooks" music video, prompting the full song's release. Like the August release of "Ghost," it also features vocals from LEILAH, who has been working with SBTRKT in the studio over the past few years.

“I've always viewed this song as more of an album track than what I might consider a single, so it’s great to see that it has resonated so widely," says SBTRKT of the track, which precedes his next full-length album, expected in 2023.
