Going to Lollapalooza this weekend? If you haven't already landed in Chicago for the glorious festivities, you may want to plan for extra wait times at the airport. The U.S. State Department on Friday issued a world-wide travel alert, citing the potential threat of attack from al Qaeda threat.
The alert extends through the month of August, so whether you're leaving Grant Park or heading to one of several upcoming festivals this month, plan to arrive early at your terminal in case of delays. Some of the highest profile events in the next 30 days include Osheaga in Montreal; Drake's OVO Fest in Toronto; Way Out West in Gothenberg, Sweden; Outside Lands in San Francisco; Lollapalooza Israel in Tel Aviv; FYF Fest in Los Angeles; Bumbershoot in Seattle; JAY Z's Made in America Festival in Philadelphia; and iTunes Festival in London.
