Emerging New York singer Ryan Egan has shared a glowing new single "Finest Hour," which arrived Monday.

After working with Luca Buccellati on his recent Postures EP, Egan—whose track "Restoration" was one of Variance's Best Songs of 2015—produced this latest cut himself, marking his first time he's "put something out that I wrote, arranged, and produced fully."

Pointing to inspiration from the likes of "self-sustainable artists like Prince or Kevin Parker or anyone that can efficiently take on the various different roles within music,” Egan said it's "special for me" to be releasing a self-produced track.
