WATCH: Zedd's New Video For 'Clarity' Featuring Foxes

Germany's EDM marvel Zedd is proving he's definitely one to watch this year with the release of his latest video "Clarity" feat. Foxes. The video for his album's title track, which is directed by Jodeb (Cypress Hill, Porter Robinson, Deftones), features a blend of chaotic and explosive abstract visuals melded with towering sand dunes, vast caverns and American muscle cars. We're also kind of obsessed with the voice of Foxes—named one of our 2012 FutureSounds.

Local Natives shared on Friday a very special live session featuring new songs off of their highly anticipated sophomore release, Hummingbird. The performance, which took place on public radio station KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic, has been made available via NPR. Recorded at Apogee's Berkeley Street Studios in front of a live audience, the set includes new single "Breakers," and seven previously unheard tunes: "Heavy Feet," "Ceilings," "Colombia," "Black Spot," "Bowery," "Three Months" and "You and I."

The BRIT Awards announced this year's nominees on Thursday. On hand to receive two nominations, British soul singer Jessie Ware also performed at the event. This year's BRITs saw Emeli Sandé lead with four nominations. Mumford and Sons, Rita Ora and Mercury Prize winner Alt-J all received three nominations, while Ben Howard, Rihanna, Coldplay, Muse, Paloma Faith, Plan B and Olly Murs all join Ware with two nods each. President Barack Obama is drawing an A-list of performers for his inaugural festivities, including a massive gala expected to draw more than 35,000 revelers.

Grammy-nominated pop-rock trio fun. will join Katy Perry, Smokey Robinson, Usher, Alicia Keys and Brad Paisley among other stars planning to sing at Obama's inaugural galas Jan. 21 and a children's concert on Jan. 19. Also signed up are Marc Anthony, Stevie Wonder, John Legend and the cast of Glee.

Rumors of Justin Timberlake's return to the music scene have been swirling for months, although the singer-turned-actor has frequently extinguished any further musical aspirations, claiming (and rightfully so) that it is very demanding. But now, it seems, things are suddenly taking shape. Florida radio station 97.9 first suggested that Timberlake would release a new single featuring Jay-Z this Monday (Jan. 14).

The Mindy Kaling-fronted comedy kicked off the new year with her on-screen brother deciding to leave Stanford to pursue a rap career. At a rap showcase, Odd Future's Tyler, the Creator (albeit a weirdly positive version of himself) appears as the opening act, reminding the crowd: "Always recycle, okay? Plastic and paper. We need to save our environment. See you guys later!"

WATCH: Rick Ross Announces New 'Mastermind' Album Due This Year

Rick Ross started a new week with some great news, sharing his new album title by way of a swanky new video. The Maybach Music head—whose last album, God Forgives, I Don't, released only last summer—has appropriately named this new project Mastermind. In a teaser for the new set, Ross flaunts cash, jewelry and a beautiful home surrounded by palm trees, while enlisting the help of a beautiful woman and a baby mountain lion to make his big announcement.

WATCH: Haim Debuts New Song 'Falling'

The Haim sisters stopped by Maida Vale studios this week for BBC Radio 1, as part of their Sound of 2013 achievement. Adding to the celebration, the trio introduced a song called "Falling." The video, which can be seen below, sees all three sisters showcasing their multiple musical talents, including playing more than one instrument throughout. The newly unveiled track is expected to be on Haim's forthcoming debut album, set to release later this year.

It's not new music, but it's definitely a reminder to fans of why they fell in love with the pair, and why they hope new material does soon surface.
